Summary of Role:

We are looking for an ambitious and highly motivated Marketing Assistant to help shape and support our integrated marketing strategies. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for their next marketing generalist role and who is keen to deliver varied and valued support to multi-channel marketing and communications initiatives.

Applying your skills and understanding across a breadth of marketing disciplines to our in-house team, you will be able to display a can-do attitude, willingness to learn and be adept at working in a fast paced and varied environment showing agility and resilience in driving projects through to completion.

Role Description:

  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to help develop marketing campaigns across a multitude of different channels to support our business objectives and marketing strategies
  • Create engaging and brand focused content for internal and external marketing communications
  • Assist with the development of marketing collateral including digital and print
  • Writing and editing press releases
  • Day to day management of internal and external channels including intranet, website and social media; supporting with content development and delivery
  • Experience and willingness to develop your experience of creative tools to support a range of formats including digital, video and presentations
  • Independently coordinate external and internal events such as conferences and exhibitions; overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and producing marketing collateral
  • Supporting internal communications strategies including intranet, team brief, employee events, wellbeing and employee engagement initiatives
  • Manage and update monthly reports
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing communications and core channels
  • Liaison and support to wider internal Capula communication strategies to support employer branding as well as Group strategies for our parent companies

Essential Requirements:

  • 2/3 years' experience working in a Marketing Assistant, Marketing Executive or Junior Marketing Executive role
  • Experience of working with a range of marketing tools including Adobe creative suite (Photoshop. InDesign & Illustrator), video editing packages, social platforms, SharePoint intranets, HTML and web CMS packages such as Wordpress/Craft
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience of copy writing and content development for digital and print
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, able to demonstrate tenacity and resilience in a fast paced environment
  • Curious and innovative with a creative flair
  • A motivated self starter that can independently plan and deliver multiple projects
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders and build robust relationships

Desirable Requirements:

  • Automation and/or IT/Digital industry experience
  • Degree level in Marketing or a closely related field
  • Passion and ambition to grow and develop the creative aspects of the role such as graphic design, video editing and digital tools
  • Good understanding of how to leverage the benefits of digital routes to market
  • Full UK driving license
