Trainee Wireperson

About the role

We are looking for someone who wants to learn how to build Electrical control panels etc.

This role will suit you if:

• You have an interest in Engineering and building electrical equipment

• Able to learn how to read technical drawings

• Good manual dexterity

• Works well in a team

• Willing to learn and give any task a go

• Full training will be provided.

Tasks you will be involved in

• The assembly and wiring of electrical components, of varying size and complexity using drawings, parts lists and specifications

• Mechanical assembly of cubicles and framework

• Bench assembly of electrical sub-assemblies

• Updating electronic issues log and communicating directly with responsible design engineers

Responsibilities

• Quality of own work and rework identified during inspection and test

• The working hours are Monday – Thursday 8am – 4:30pm Friday 8am – 1:30pm
