Capula achieves Cyber Essentials accreditation
Capula has successfully achieved Cyber Essentials accreditation, which verifies that Capula has been externally tested and found to have robust cyber security defences in place. Cyber Essentials is a government and industry recognised cyber security certification that businesses are encouraged to adopt to safeguard data and to provide protection from the most prevalent forms of threat coming from the internet.
As a leading control system and IT solution provider Capula operates in an environment where the Internet of Things (IoT) now enables communication between machines (machine-to-machine or M2M) and it is essential that the networks carrying our communications as well as our client’s communications are protected to reduce their vulnerability.
Lee Carter, Head of IT at Capula commented, “This accreditation demonstrates Capula’s commitment to IT security and reassures customers both current and prospective that our policies, procedures and security mechanisms adhere to government endorsed standards.”
