Capula becomes a member of Institute of Measurement & Control
We are delighted to announce that we are now a member of the Institute of Measurement and Control with Steve Warburton, Capula Key Account Manager joining as a committee member.
As members of the Companion Company scheme we are able to:
- Raise our profile amongst a membership of +3000 professional engineers in the measurement, automation and control sectors.
- Network with other CCS companies, InstMC accredited universities and individual members at regional and national level.
- Participate in our Special Interest Groups and Local Sections that exist to co-ordinate events and activities in their specialist areas and regions.
Commenting on what he hopes to get out of the committee work Steve said, 'I have been involved via my companies over many years with the different Institute of Measurement and Control (InstMC) Sections throughout my professional career mainly attending tech talks / exhibitions and annual dinners with customers and have always enjoyed the experience.
Now I feel the time is right to get more involved with my local section and give something back to the industry that has given me a fantastic career and try to encourage the next generation into the engineering Industry especially EC&I and supporting their professional journey.'
'Capula supports its employees with membership and association of key industry aligned trade bodies including IET/NI/NIA as well as universities and academic institutes. We see the InstMC as a good fit for Capula in our market supporting the UK Critical Infrastructure helping us stay at the leading edge of measurement, control & automation.'
We look forward to collaborating with the Institute of Measurement and Control on projects in the coming months.
