Capula Scoops Technology Award

Capula was announced the winner of the Energy Industries Council’s (EIC) Technology Award at its National Awards Dinner 2018 held in London on 11th October.

The award win recognises Capula’s advanced IoT solution, OPUS, which was launched in response to the UK’s changing energy mix. OPUS has been designed to provide organisations within the energy sector and more, access to actionable insight from dispersed assets and data sources, allowing them to manage a range of operational functions through a single, integrated interface.

EIC CEO Stuart Broadley said, “Capula has shown that agility is key to prospering during these tough times. It’s reacted to the UK’s changing energy landscape to produce a game changing technological solution in OPUS, connecting dispersed assets and data sources, covering the power, water and wind sectors, allowing organisations of any size to manage their complete operations from any location.”

“We’re delighted to have won the Technology Award,” commented Mark Hardy, Managing Director at Capula. “OPUS demonstrates the possibilities of a connected industrial enterprise and is a great of example of what can be achieved using the power of today’s IoT technologies.”
