Capula achieves Gold ‘Excellent Employer’ status with Next Gen Makers

We're delighted to share that Capula has achieved Gold 'Excellent Employer' status through the Engineering Apprenticeships: Excellent Employer Accreditation from Next Gen Makers. This recognition reflects the quality of our apprenticeship programme and our ongoing commitment to supporting and developing the next generation of engineers.

The accreditation is based on both independent assessment and feedback from our apprentices, recognising excellence in areas such as learning and development, wellbeing support, mentoring and career progression. Capula achieved an overall Gold rating and was recognised as an outstanding employer for engineering apprentices.

This achievement is a reflection of the collective effort across the business. From mentors and managers who support apprentices in their day-to-day development, to the Learning & Development team who help shape and deliver the programme, many people have played a role in creating a positive apprentice experience.

The feedback also highlighted a number of strengths, including the support available to apprentices, the opportunities they receive to develop meaningful skills, and the value they place on the experience they gain at Capula.

“We're proud to have achieved the Gold standard Excellent Employer accreditation from Next Gen Makers. This recognition reflects the commitment we make to supporting and developing our apprentices throughout their careers at Capula.

The apprentice feedback process was valuable in providing honest insights into the experience of our apprentices and helping us identify where we're doing well and where we can continue to improve. Combined with the best practice programme, it gives us confidence that we're creating an environment where apprentices can develop the skills, knowledge and experience needed to build successful engineering careers.”

As always, we remain committed to continuous improvement and will use the feedback received to further enhance our apprenticeship programme and ensure future apprentices continue to thrive.
