Capula appoints new Managing Director
After nearly 30 years working in Capula, Roger Turner has taken the decision to retire at the end of June of this year. Roger leaves Capula in great shape, with a solid order book and a strong team. Paul Kavanagh CEO of Imtech, (Capula’s parent company) commented, “I would like to thank Roger for his effective leadership of the Capula business over many years, and for his generous support as part of the group’s senior management team. We all wish him a long and enjoyable retirement.”
Mark Hardy will succeed Roger as Managing Director. Mark has been working with Capula in a non-executive capacity for the last year or so and brings with him a tremendous depth of experience in the automation industry. During his time with Capula he has helped deliver their recent review and reorganisation and a much improved order book. Paul Kavanagh commented, “We have every confidence that Mark will carry on Roger’s good work and continue to drive and grow the business.”
Roger will hand over the role of Managing Director to Mark with immediate effect. Between now and the end of June 2016, Roger will focus on operations and he will be available to support Mark in an advisory role.
