Capula celebrates Class of 2025 graduations

Capula has been proudly celebrating its Class of 2025 Graduates.

Four apprentices from Capula’s Nuclear department, have recently graduated from University of Staffordshire with outstanding results. Callum Cartlidge, Rebekah Chesworth, Xander Cotton and Tayela Jarvis-Dale have all achieved a First Class BEng (Hons) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

These graduates are already making significant contributions to critical national infrastructure projects through their technical expertise and dedication.

In addition, Caitlin Howells, based in Capula’s Energy department, graduated from Newcastle and Stafford College Group with a Level 5 Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering qualification. Caitlin also went on to win Student of Year at her Graduation Ceremony, for her outstanding dedication and positive attitude that has earned her the respect and admiration of both her peers and the wider faculty.

Commenting on the collective achievements, David Mitchell, Capula’s Technical Trainer said:

“Watching our apprentices grow into confident, capable professionals is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.
Their achievements this year are testament to their hard work and the time we invest in delivering our development programmes alongside our academic partners. I’m incredibly proud of each of them and excited to see where their careers will take them next.”

Commenting further, Steve Tellwright, Capula’s People and Quality Director said:

“It’s a real privilege to attend each of these graduation ceremonies and celebrate the achievements of our apprentices. Seeing their growth first-hand is a powerful reminder of why investing in people is at the heart of everything we do here at Capula.
We also recognise that this growth would not be possible without the dedication and support of their mentors, Steve Fletcher, Carl Shenton, Adrian Smith, Nigel Devall and Calum Deakin, whose support and guidance have been instrumental in helping our apprentices succeed and achieve the results they have.”

Capula continues to invest in the future by nurturing the next generation of engineering talent. This September, the company will welcome its next apprentice intake, covering a range of engineering and business disciplines and reflecting its ongoing commitment to skills development and innovation.
