Capula expands its Staffordshire presence with the opening of new office and production facility
We are reinforcing our long-term commitment to Staffordshire with the opening of a new office and production facility at Walton Industrial Estate, representing a significant investment in the region and a key milestone in the company’s continued growth.
Located close to our headquarters at Orion House, the new facility provides a major increase in both office and production capacity, adding around 30,000 square foot and 60% more operational space. This expansion supports Capula’s strategic ambition to provide modern, flexible and collaborative environments that meet the evolving needs of its teams, clients and project portfolio.
Simon Coombs, Managing Director, highlighted the importance of investing in high-quality workplaces to enable sustainable growth whilst supporting manufacturing and operational excellence:
“Investing in this new facility is testament to our commitment to providing modern and collaborative environments for our employees and clients. These investments help us better support our talented team and create greater opportunities in the Staffordshire region.”
A facility designed for growth, innovation and enhanced delivery
The new facility will strengthen our operational capability and will:
- Increase production capacity to meet growing demand across energy, nuclear and industrial markets
- Provide additional high-quality workspaces, supporting teams across engineering, digitalisation and operational technology
- Enhance collaboration with dedicated meeting and project spaces
- Reinforce Capula’s long‑term presence in Stone, Staffordshire and the wider Midlands region
- Align with recent facility upgrades across Cumbria, Berkshire, Yorkshire and Douglas Park
The new facility forms part of the ongoing programme of investment in its people, facilities and technology – ensuring the business continues to deliver high quality, safety critical solutions for the UK’s critical national infrastructure.
Steve Tellwright, People and Quality Director, added:
“The opening of our new facility is another exciting milestone in Capula’s growth. This facility will allow us to scale our production, enhance collaboration and continue investing in the region as we build for the future.”
Teams will begin transitioning into the space shortly as part of Capula’s phased accommodation plan.
