Capula Project Engineer appointed as Apprentice Champion to the Apprenticeships Ambassador Network, West Midlands
Craig Ostrouchow, Capula Project Engineer, has been appointed as Apprentice Champion to the Apprenticeships Ambassador Network, West Midlands.
The Apprenticeship Ambassador Network brings together those that are passionate about apprenticeships and want to promote apprenticeships as a route to bridge the skills gap.
The role of an Apprentice Ambassador is to promote apprenticeships and inspire others by describing their direct experience and engaging with those considering an apprenticeship.
Commenting on his achievement, Craig said “When I received the news I was really shocked but I am eager to get started and hopefully I can inspire and help others.
I already have lots of experience helping a number of the apprentices within our business, encouraging them to feel comfortable approaching me with questions and technical issues.
This new role will see me share my experiences, help me to widen my network and learn about myself along the way.”
Christa Bridges, Apprentice Co-Vice Chair, Apprenticeships Ambassador Network, West Midlands, commented “We are thrilled to have Craig on board as one of our 4 new Apprentice Champions in the network, who support and encourage new and existing ambassadors.
Throughout Craig's application and interview, and even within his first few weeks in the role, we have been really impressed with his level of creativity, commitment, and drive to help others prosper. We're really excited to see Craig continue to thrive in this role”.
