Capula receive Bronze Award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme
We are pleased to announce that Capula has received the Bronze Award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) - run by the Ministry of Defence.
The ERS encourages employers to support defence and inspire others to do the same. As part of the award, we signed the Armed Forces Covenant, demonstrating our commitment to helping members of the armed forces community including those currently serving, veterans and reservists, as well as their families.
The Bronze Award is given to employers who pledge their intention to support defence - and take a positive stance towards Reservists who are either existing or prospective employees Holders must pledge to support the armed forces, be open to employing reservists and veterans - and uphold the values of the Armed Forces Covenant. The scheme recognises and rewards UK employers for their support to defence personnel.
The government is committed to supporting the armed forces community by working with a range of partners who have signed the covenant. The covenant is a national responsibility involving government, businesses, local authorities, charities and the public.
“Signing the Armed Forces Covenant was a key part of our continued commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community. We recognise the value that armed forces personnel that have given service to their country can bring to our organisation as they possess a unique set of skills that are valued by the critical national infrastructure customers we support. As a business, we want to be able to give back to those that serve and their families as we are proud of their contributions.” Steve Tellwright, Capula HR Director.
