Capula shows support for local Cumbrian charities
Capula has recently supported charities active in the West Cumbrian region, where one of our regional offices is located to allow our engineers to focus on nuclear related projects. We were pleased to support the Calderwood House Egremont charity, an organisation that helps the unemployed and those in need of accommodation, and particularly prioritises those from an ex-military background. The charity based in West Cumbria runs a self-sustainable independent project by selling items such as coffee to local businesses to raise money for the cause.
We also sponsored the popular ‘Cockermouth Beer Festival’, an event that raises the profile of local independent breweries producing craft beer and also raises money for local charities. The event was well attended and attracted visitors to the county which helped boost the local economy.
