CAPULA SUPPORTS CO-OP Academy Glebe CAREERS Week

Staffordshire based industrial automation and control systems integrator, Capula recently supported Co-Op Academy Glebe careers event. Maria Carroll, Learning and Development Advisor and Leanne Barrow, Resource Planner showcased our apprenticeship pathways at the careers event.

They were joined by apprentices Will Knight and Craig Ostrouchow, who shared their apprenticeship experiences and hosted interactive sessions with the students so they could become engineers for the day.

Committed to contributing to our local communities, we continue to host our own open days at our offices in Stone, Staffordshire, helping to inspire and attract the next generation into a career in engineering whilst showcasing the apprenticeships opportunities we have to offer.

Hosted by a team of our apprentices the open day consists of:

  • A tour of our production facilities, showing students where we manufacture advanced industrial control systems for customers such as EDF and Hinkley Point C.
  • 2 STEAM based activities, designed to give students the opportunity to become engineers for the day.
  • A brief presentation outlining the apprenticeship career pathways we have to offer students.
