Capula celebrates Class of 2024 graduations

Capula has been proudly celebrating its Class of 2024 Graduates, with achievements coming from a range of engineering disciplines.

Three of our apprentices have recently graduated from Staffordshire University, each achieving the highest level of qualification,

Kim Sanchez and Elliott Mellor attained a First Class BEng (Hons) in Electronics & Electrical Engineering. Both are continuing to build their professional experience in the Nuclear department, supporting a range of critical national infrastructure projects.

Maria Arapi also achieved a First Class BSc (Hons) in Digital Technology Solutions specialising in Cyber Security and is making significant contributions to Nuclear clients and projects through her extensive cyber security knowledge.

Elsewhere, Craig Ostrouchow graduated with a Distinction in Higher National Certificate (HNC) Engineering at Newcastle College. Craig successfully went on to win Student of the Year at his Graduation Ceremony, for his outstanding dedication and positive attitude that has earned him the respect and admiration of both his peers and the wider faculty.

Commenting on the collective achievements, Maria Carroll, Capula’s Learning and Development Advisor said:

“I am extremely proud of their achievements. Kim, Elliott, Maria and Craig are always a pleasure to work with and I wish them every success in their future careers”

Commenting further on the Class of 2024, Steve Tellwright, Capula People and Quality Director said:

“It’s great to see Kim, Elliott, Maria and Craig graduate achieving the highest level of award, it’s testament to their hard work, dedication, commitment and resilience to balance their responsibilities at work and home over the last 4-5 years. I’m sure everyone in Capula will congratulate them on their achievements and I’m confident that they will continue to develop and excel in everything they do.”

Capula is looking forward to welcoming its next intake of apprentices in September which is set to be a record year. 24 new employees will be joining the business, studying a range of qualifications; alongside three current employees undertaking a Masters qualification in Digital & Technology Solutions.
