Well done Tracey on completing adventurous charity challenge!
Congratulations to intrepid employee Tracey Francis who has recently returned from completing the Bear Grylls Survival Challenge in Africa. The trip turned out to be an experience she will never forget and she exceeded her fundraising target by raising over £5,500 for the Midlands Air Ambulance charity: https://lnkd.in/dDdGJcB. Highlights included witnessing wild animals such as hippos, baboons and water buffalo invade camp at night, white water rafting down the Zambezi rapids, learning to fend for herself on a deserted beach with no food supplies and eating a local speciality dish - mopani worms!
The team of 11 adventurers hope to raise £100,000 by christmas for this charity that relies entirely on donations to keep its air ambulances operating.
“I’ve had such an amazing time thanks to the support of colleagues, friends and family and I have already started planning my next adventure. I’m just refining some ideas before roping in a few of my unsuspecting Capula colleagues!" said Tracey.
