Alastair Norman appointed Sector Manager of Operational Intelligence division
Capula, part of the Imtech Group, announces the appointment of Alastair Norman as Business Sector Manager for the Operational Intelligence division. This appointment follows a recent period of strategic realignment within the business with five sector work streams being created, culminating in the highest ever quarterly order wins being achieved in the first part of 2016.
Alastair is an experienced business leader in automation software solutions. He has held senior international positions at GE, Siemens and most recently at Telent as Head of Asset Condition Monitoring, where he built the data intelligence business delivering significant developments in predictive analytics and asset health monitoring to infrastructure clients over the last five years.
Capula recognises the growth opportunities available through technologies associated with ‘Big Data’ and the ‘Internet of Things’, which will be a key focus area for Alastair, with this type of technology already well-established and successfully deployed by Capula to benefit key clients.
