Community support


Creating social value is also key to our services, we do this via a range of initiatives. We create local employment, deliver training to support local educational institutions, get involved with local and industry bodies and encourage our people to use their company volunteer days within their communities as a force for good.

Nuc ben fund


Capula supports employees who are undertaking community or charitable activities with 2 days paid leave.

As a trustee of The Nuclear Industry Benevolent Fund (TNIBF), Kris Bradshaw, Sales and Marketing Director, supports the charities efforts to provide help to those working or who have worked in the UK Nuclear Industry and their dependants through the provision of support, signposting and financial assistance. Assisting with branding and hosting their Spring Committee Management Meeting at Capula’s Stone offices.

  • Stafford Riverway Link Volunteering day

    Commenting on the day, Simon Coombs, Managing Director said “It’s great that our volunteering initiatives are starting to gain momentum across our company. It was fun taking part today and really satisfying to be helping with local community initiatives”.

  • 20th Stafford Scout Group volunteering day

    Commenting on the day, Kevin Miller, Group Chairman, 20th Stafford Scout Group said "I'm extremely grateful for the time and effort that both EDF and Capula employees put into sprucing up our tired scout hut, the painting has removed all traces of graffiti making the building look wonderful and the new efficient LED lights will help to reduce electricity bills".

  • Katharine House Hospice volunteering day

    Commenting on the day Tracey Francis, Capula's Volunteer Liaison said “What a fantastic group of people to do a spring tidy up at Katharine House Hospice with head gardener Steve. We had numerous robins who kept us company throughout the day!”

    Commenting on the day, Matthew Ball, Head of Commercial said, "We had a great day out yesterday, it was nice to do something with the team that doesn’t involve the daily pressures of our roles and making a positive change to our communities and helping to maintain Staffordshire’s scenic landscape."

  • St Thomas’ Church Volunteering day

    The team helped to plant new beds and support a local rewilding initiative by creating a larger area for insects and wildlife to enjoy the many branches and leaves collected throughout the day. They also helped maintain the interior of the building by painting, dusting and laying new carpets.
